A great turn out for this showing all over the world could mean more Elvis films coming to theaters in the future, so come show your support by getting tickets and catching the show either with us or in your area!
Why are we having the meetup on August 20th instead of August 16th ?
Pete has a show on August 16th in the same location where Elvis filmed Follow that Dream! Get information on this show, tickets and more HERE.
Why are we having a meetup?
Since day one of launching TCB Radio Network we knew we’d be incorporating meetups because we want to get to know you offline and in person! It’s mentioned in our “about” page. We are thrilled that this opportunity has come to us here in Orlando – and yet you can still catch the film no matter where you live. Remember we also want to meet you at the 2018 Elvis Presley Memorial Dinner in Memphis!
Why did we pick this theater for our meetup?
Location, Location, Location. Founder of TCB Radio Network, Krista Joy – has loved Disney for years. Parking at Disney Springs is plentiful and FREE. You’ll want to park in ORANGE Garage for the shortest walk to the theater. The Disney Springs movie theater or AMC Disney Springs 24 is located at Disney Springs’s West Side, look for it near Splitsville and Bongos Cuban Cafe and Nightclub.
What’s so great about this theater? Several theaters in the area will be showing the ’68 Comeback Special!
The bonus is state-of-the-art THX Surround Sound and Sony Dynamic Digital Sound. We think the ’68 Comeback Special at AMC Disney Springs 24 is going to blow your mind. The seats are spacious and cushy, perfect for a rest after a long day at work. Plus, the atmosphere inside the theaters is beautifully themed to the grand Art Deco movement in the 1920s, so you’ll feel like going to the movies is really something special again.
AMC Disney Springs 24 has upgraded one of their auditoriums to be the first Enhanced Theater Experience in America – that means that the movie you’ll see there have a huge floor to ceiling screen, 12 channel audio, digital projection that is better quality than HD, and of course 3D capabilities. We sure hope this is the one where they will put Elvis!
And of course, it feels a little extra magical to see a Disney film at Walt Disney World! Special thanks to Fathom Events for providing Krista and Pete with complimentary media passes to enjoy the ’68 Comeback Special. See you at the movies!
